Rosie-May Brooks: Climbing the Ladder to Team Lead
Client Server

Rosie-May Brooks started her journey with Client Server back in 2017 as a Trainee Consultant. After wrapping up her career as a professional performer, a friend in Rec2Rec suggested she’d thrive in recruitment, and it turns out, he was right. "I interviewed at a few places, but Client Server just stood out. It felt different, and I could really see myself here," Rosie recalls.
Fast forward eight years, and she’s gone from Trainee to Consultant, Senior, Managing Consultant, and now Team Lead. Once Rosie hit Senior, she knew leadership was where she wanted to be, driven by her passion not just for billing, but for helping others thrive too.
"I get so much enjoyment from seeing others succeed. Helping my team become the best recruiters they can be is what really motivates me."
Support Every Step of the Way
One thing that’s kept Rosie growing is the ongoing support and development opportunities at Client Server.
"There’s been constant training over the years, plus support from my managers and peers. And because I’m really passionate about DE&I, Client Server has given me opportunities to attend events and roundtables, so I can help advise our clients too."
Now, as a Team Lead, Rosie has a clear path forward, with the full backing of the business. And just as importantly, she’s been able to balance her career growth with family life, thanks to Client Server’s supportive and flexible approach.
Career Highlights
There have been plenty of wins along the way, but a few stand out for Rosie:
- Hitting big financial goals, made possible by Client Server’s commission scheme
- Watching her team grow and succeed
- Building lasting relationships with candidates and clients, sometimes even placing the same people multiple times over the years!
"Helping people land their dream roles and then seeing them come back to hire through us later on, that’s a great feeling."
Why Client Server?
For Rosie, Client Server’s culture is a huge part of why she’s stayed and grown her career here.
"Client Server genuinely values every single person. A few years back, I worked with our CEO and HR to improve our parental leave policies. It was something really important to me as I was planning my family, and they listened. That’s just one example of how they’re always looking to improve for their employees."
The culture is vibrant, inclusive, and fun. Whether it’s fitness sessions, charity events, creative socials like sip-and-paint, or just the everyday buzz of working alongside great people, it’s a place where you’re supported to succeed while enjoying the journey.
"You spend so much time at work. It’s important to love where you work and who you work with. That’s exactly what we have here."
