Senior Systems Engineer (Linux) London / WFH to £150k

Do you have expertise with Linux?

You could be progressing your career at a hugely profitable High Frequency Trading firm that specialise in crypto markets.

As a Senior Systems Engineer you will provide day-to-day technical support to end users, manage the organisation's user accounts, network equipment and servers and be responsible for hardware and software including set up, upgrades and maintenance as well as managing hardware and software vendors. You will also participate in designing IT infrastructure for new business initiatives and assist with the adoption of the new technologies.

Location / WFH:

You'll join the team in Central London with flexibility to work from home twice a week (please note there is an on-call requirement).

About you:

• You are degree educated in a technical discipline
• You have strong experience in a similar Linux Systems Engineer role
• You have expertise with Linux including installation, configuration and troubleshooting
• You have experience of leading or mentoring others
• You have strong bash or Python scripting skills
• You're familiar with cloud computing concepts and technologies
• You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication and stakeholder management skills
