Application Support Engineer (SQL Linux) London onsite to £90k

Do you have experience of supporting applications and users on Equities or Derivatives trading systems?

You could be joining the Investment Management arm of a global bank.

As an Application Support Engineer you will focus on BAU activities to ensure the smooth operation of Equities and Derivatives trading systems. You'll sit on the trading floor, collaborating with traders and software engineers to support business critical applications.

Please note this role is on a shift basis either 0700 to 1700 or 0800 to 1800, you'll be part of a globally distributed team.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in the London City office on a fulltime basis.

About you:

• You have achieved a 2.1 or above in Computer Science or similar technical or numerate discipline
• You have commercial experience in a similar Application Support role, ideally on Equities and Derivatives trading systems (will consider other asset classes)
• You have strong technical skills with SQL and Linux
• You have advanced analysis and problem solving skills
• You are collaborative with excellent communication skills
