Software Development Manager (C++ HFT) New York to $250k+

Do you have expertise with C++ and High Frequency Trading systems? You could be progressing your career at a global systematic trading firm, in senior, hands-on Software Development Manager role.

As a Software Development Manager you will take ownership of the HFT platform and head up a small, highly talented team of C++ Software Engineers. You'll remain hands-on with architecture and design and work on the most complex problems, providing technical leadership and guidance to the team.

You will be advocate of best practice and drive continuous improvements to ensure maximum profitability.

Location:

You'll join the team based in fabulous New York offices on a fulltime basis (Monday to Friday).

About you:

• You have expertise with modern C++
• You have a strong knowledge and experience of working on HFT platforms (High Frequency Trading) within a systematic trading firm
• You have a strong understanding of trading systems and PnL, with strong commercial acumen
• You have a thorough knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals including OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
• You're highly numerate with strong mathematics
• You have advanced analysis, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• You're degree educated in a relevant technical discipline
